Because Bella Luna Soaps are made from natural ingredients the finished product contains the natural occurring glycerin that is well known for its moisturizing benefits. Most commercial soaps contain little or no glycerin.

Most people believe Castile Soap is olive oil soap... but commercial Castile Soap or even imported Castile Soap can contain many other chemicals, animal fats or preservatives.
